NSW beat Queensland 23-22 after 104 minutes at Brisbane's ANZ Stadium.
On this day 25 years ago, the longest first class rugby league game in history was played.
At Brisbane’s ANZ Stadium, NSW met Queensland in the first and - to date - only State Tri-series.
It was 18-18 at fulltime, 22-22 after another 10 minutes each way and then Blues halfback Noel Goldthorpe booted the winning field goal after four minutes.
