Two Tribes to be launched on the Gold Coast this Friday
Burleigh Bears Leagues Club will be our venue.
THIS isn’t the last launch for the time being but it’s the most recent to be organised.
Thanks to Damian Driscoll, CEO of Burleigh Bears, for making the leagues club available this Friday.
I figured the best time to get there would be halftime in the early Friday night game - but I’ll try to be there for kick-off.
Usual story: what we do is down to who shows up! See you Friday!
LIONS HAVEN’T GOT A PRAYER

DAVID Miles laughs when you suggest he is rugby league's patron saint of lost causes.
But with Perth, Paris and now Great Britain on his coaching resume, cynics might suggest that is exactly what he is.
"Maybe you're right," he chuckled on Thursday night. "When the writing is on the wall that a joint is almost finished, they send me in."
It's a little-known fact that St Helens coach Shaun McRae isn't the only Australian on British coach Andy Goodway's staff for the Super League Test series against Australia.
Miles is a 34-year-old Sydney teacher who specialises in conditioning and coaching.
"When they sacked Peter Mullholland from Paris, they rang me and said, 'You are definitely not sacked, you are coaching the team until we find a replacement'," Miles said.
"For the next four weeks I was everything - coach, chief executive and jersey sorter.
"Then Andy Goodway came to Paris. At the end of the season, we all knew the club would probably go under. I was going to go home and look for a job when Andy asked me to stay on and help out with GB."
Miles said Britain showed Australia "too much respect" last Saturday and that they looked "nervous" during their warm-up.
"I was out the other night and saw (Australian forward) Craig Greenhill, who I know from my days at Cronulla," Miles said.
"He was joking around, calling me a traitor.
"It is very weird for me and Shaun being Aussies in the Brits camp. It was a strange feeling at Wembley, hearing the national anthem.
"You can't really sing along, can you?"
